ABOUT HILLS AND DALES VILLAGE

On October 9, 1922, T.K. Harris Company acquired the title to the 202-acre farm now known as The Village of Hills and Dales. The plans for the Village were accepted by the Planning Commission on September 13, 1923. Various architectural types are represented throughout the Village including early Georgian, English Tudor, Normandy, and Colonial. The Village has an elected Mayor, a Village Council, and its own police force. Although it is geographically located in Jackson Township, as of 1955 the Village is a part of the Plain Local School District.
